Fifth schoolchildren theatre festival “Donors are lifesavers”

On 28th March, the fifth schoolchildren theatre festival called “Donors are lifesavers” was held at the Russian Theatre. Six school theatre troupes from Käina, Kallavere, Aravete and Tallinn took to the stage to perform their creative works.

This year, the jury, headed by the actress Liina Tennosaar, selected as the winner the youngest participants of the festival from the Kadriorg German Gymnasium and their performance titled “But what is actually going on in me, in my mind? A child’s vision” for their original, exciting, witty and versatile take on blood donation. The winning troupe was awarded tickets to a performance of their choice by a theatre in mainland Estonia.

The festival was sponsored by Bambona, Põltsamaa Felix, Kalev, the Russian Theatre and the Museum of Occupations.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the young and talented actors and see you at the next festival!
