Good deeds by the dozen in Haapsalu blood drive

The donor tent tour in Haapsalu started very successfully. The diligent people of Haapsalu and surrounding Lääne County made more donations on two tent days than they did last year when the event was held over three days. Last year, 195 people gave blood at the Haapsalu event, 20 of whom were first time donors, with a total 90 litres of blood collected. This year, on 1-2 June, 237 people visited the donor tents and 206 were cleared to donate. Twenty-one of them were giving blood for the first time and the total donated was almost 93 litres. We’d like to extend our deepest appreciation to all donors!

The North Estonia Medical Centre Donor Tent tour continues on 15, 16 and 17 June in Rakvere, where based on the experiences of years past, we are awaiting an active turnout from the townspeople.
